I'm always looking for tools to help with homeschooling. I was looking for worksheets to help my daughter with Science.  She is working on weather and climate.  I found a few helpful sites I would like to share.

IXL  actually is helpful for math and has practice tests for standard state testing.
lessonsnips  has printable worksheets and answer sheets (for the parents).
Lesson Planet  provides lesson plans and worksheets. You do need to join this site but they let you try it for free.

We are back in action.  No more breaks and lazy days of playing and reading.  Back to hitting the books.  The kids are in their "Semester Week" and that means a lot of studying!
Oh, did I mention it snowed yesterday...so there off playing outside.  I guess we'll have a little night-school.

My kids and I are taking two weeks off for our winter break. It's a much needed break. I hope to return refreshed and ready to finish off our first semester.


Maybe I should consider fixing up our schoolroom!
